what are the best web for hosting and the best web for domians names? I do not want to share the same company on both as I’ve been told that Old-timers best practice is never register where you host, never host where you register even if the company has a very good reputation for both. Not even if it’s cheaper in one of those “free domain with hosting” deals. They can hold your (your clients) domains hostage if they suspend your hosting, hold your hosting hosting if they don’t like something about your domain usage, hold everything hostage in payment issue disputes.
