whats the easiest linux versions / types to do this: when computers starts, it shows a full screen list or full screen note on all virtual desktops

or whats the best current option to do this?

What do you mean by ‘full-screen list’ and ‘full-screen note’?

I use Manjaro with Xfce desktop environment.
I installed the ‘notes’ package, which displays notes, like a sticky note, on every workspace.
The notes can be resized to occupy as much of the workspace as you want.
Notes can be set up to load on bootup/session login.

@learningbabysteps I suggest to use a distro that has the Xfce desktop too. It is really nice and simple.
