Yeoman problems?

Is anyone here using Yeoman? I wonder if it’s still kept up, I just started using it today and there seems to be problems with it generating CSS on the page. I rolled back the BS version in the JSON file and I’m still having problems with the index showing up correctly.

Would anyone recommend a better tool, something that’s currently up to date or a better option for getting a project up and running quick.

Nothing fancy, just a simple bootstrap site because I just found out about it and it seemed like a good idea to use for its ease of set up. I eventually got everything up and working, the web app package comes with gulp, turns out the server has to be up and running in order for the sass to show up on index.
