I am a part-time freelance web developer (full stack - trying very hard to be the best I can in all areas) for about 13 years, retired from teaching high school math 11 years ago, married with a son into digital illustration, game development and self-learning software engineering and a daughter in university chemistry. My favourite hobby is learning new things - especially if they have to do with coding and working on personal projects. I started FreeCodeCamp because I had very little background in JavaScript and would like to learn as much as I can about that field. In my spare time, I help out in the SitePoint forums as an advisor.
