I'm not exactly new to web design, but I've been without the internet for a few years, which I hope excuses the lack of portfolio. Though I was once the back-end maintenance nerd for a fairly popular (now defunct) online community, I don't have any actual programming training. So now that I have internet again, I'm starting over from the beginning, trying to get past my own personal wall, Javascript, so I can move onto the back-end languages I'm more familiar/comfortable with.
