I’m a Computational Biologist and Programmer, who currently works as a Researcher II in a lab that focuses on psychiatric and evolutionary genetics. Our lab has recently studied DRD4, OPRM1, and various other GPCRs. Over the past 4 years, I’ve become highly skilled in cell culture techniques such as stable cell line creation from lentiviral vectors, cell-based assays, and nuclei isolation. I have also gained substantial experience in Bioinformatics methods such as sequence analysis and RNASeq analysis while working with Big Data on a Linux cluster.

In my spare time, I manage a basketball forum running Laravel, build websites with Bootstrap4, Jekyll, or from scratch, build meaningless Shiny web apps, and analyze NBA data with Python. I’m currently learning React, Dart, and Scala.
